Shrine of `Abdu'l-Bahá : ウィキペディア英語版
Shrine of `Abdu'l-Bahá
The Shrine of `Abdu'l-Bahá is the location in Israel where the remains of `Abdu'l-Bahá, one of the Bahá'í central figures, have been temporarily laid to rest. It is found in one of the rooms of the Shrine of the Báb; the Shrine of `Abdu'l-Bahá will be relocated to a new structure to be built in the future.
There also exists a home in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where `Abdu'l-Bahá stayed during his visits to the West. Although `Abdu’l-Bahá stayed in various homes where he travelled, the house in Montreal, which was the Maxwell's residence, is the only place officially designated to be a shrine. Shoghi Effendi, who designated the home a shrine in a June 1953 letter, stated that the house “should be viewed in the nature of a national Shrine, because of its association with the beloved Master, during His visit to Montreal.” The Maxwell residence is located at 1548, Pine Avenue West, Montreal.
